Trieste, 8th April 2026 – The Board of Directors of illycaffè S.p.A. approved the draft separate financial statements of the Parent Company illycaffè S.p.A. and the consolidated financial statements for the year 2025.
In 2025, the Group’s revenue amounted to €700 million, up +12% at constant exchange rates compared with the previous year (+11% at current exchange rates). Organic growth achieved in 2025 was supported by an increase in volumes across all key markets, particularly in the two strategic countries of Italy and the United States, followed by further expansion in the European clusters.
The year 2025 was marked by an extraordinary increase in raw material prices, which averaged 368 cents/lb —three times the historical average since 1972—and was up by more than 50% compared with 2024. This inflationary trend was partially offset through an effective pricing strategy and targeted cost-efficiency actions. EBITDA totalled €90 million and net profit €20 million. Net Financial Position amounted to €197 million, mainly reflecting higher raw material costs and strategic initiatives to support growth, in particular the completion of two strategic acquisitions.
Cristina Scocchia, CEO of illycaffè, commented: "2025 was the fourth consecutive year of strong organic growth for the company, despite a particularly challenging external environment and the sharp rise in raw material prices. We accelerated in key markets while further strengthening our presence along the entire value chain: upstream, through the integration of coffee machine manufacturer Capitani, and downstream, thanks to the acquisition of the Swiss distributor. In 2025, investments in the Trieste production hub also continued. Although 2026 is shaping up to be another complex year, marked by intensifying geopolitical tensions, we will remain focused on our strategies, supporting organic growth through international expansion and significant investments in marketing and sustainable innovation."
In 2025, all the main markets in which the Group operates grew compared with 2024. The Group further consolidated its leadership position in Italy in the premium segment, with revenue up 14% versus 2024. In Europe, revenue increased at a double-digit rate (+23%) compared with 2024. The United States, a priority market in the Group’s medium-term plans, grew by +20% at constant exchange rates versus 2024.
In July 2025, illycaffè acquired 100% of the share capital of the Swiss distributor, as part of its strategy to strengthen direct presence in key European markets. In October 2025, illycaffè acquired an 80% stake in Capitani, a company specialized in the design and production of coffee machines for portioned systems, mainly for the home segment. Through this upstream integration, illycaffè will be able to maximise in-cup quality of authentic Italian espresso, complementing the unique illy blend with proprietary preparation systems and ensuring an increasingly integrated customer experience.
