The artist, who has made Trieste his adopted home, brings his visual universe to the iconic illy cup, with intense imagery and a distinctive exploration of water, light and reflections. The new collection reinterprets the work created by Serse Roma for the **Barcolana 2026 Poster**, transferring surfaces of water, reflections and movement onto the cup through the graphite mark that defines the artist’s style. The sea of Trieste thus becomes the protagonist of a narrative suspended between reality and abstraction. The collaboration between illycaffè and Serse Roma began in 2005, when the artist created a decoration inspired by the sea of Trieste for the glass dedicated to cold coffee. More than twenty years later, that dialogue is renewed with a collection that celebrates the city, its maritime soul and the regatta with the largest number of participants in the world. *“With this illy Art Collection, the work created by Serse Roma for the Barcolana Poster comes to the illy cup, bringing the light, movement and evocative power of the sea of Trieste into the daily ritual of coffee,”* **says Cristina Scocchia, Chief Executive Officer of illycaffè.** *“This is the meaning of the illy Art Collection: bringing art closer to people through an everyday object. More than twenty years after our first collaboration, we are delighted that Serse’s mark is once again telling the story of our bond with Trieste, the city where illycaffè was born and which has always been our home.”* The illy Art Collection created by Serse Roma for Barcolana 2026 will be available at the recommended retail price of €28.90 in illy single-brand stores, on the illy.com e-shop and in the dedicated Barcolana areas. \*\*\* illycaffè An Italian family-owned company founded in Trieste in 1933, illycaffè has always pursued the mission of offering the best coffee in the world.
